Bungee Jumping at Killiecrankie

This is a wee video podcast I made at work in the summer about the new ‘Highland Fling’ Bungee Jump at the National Trust for Scotland site Killiecrankie. I filmed and edited it with some handy camera help from my colleague Paul.  Finished the editing last week for it to go live with the publication of the NTS’  magazine. Braw fun for a day’s graft!

Last weekend I met up with my pal James Urquhart who is currently walking across Scotland and climbing all the Munros as he goes. I drove to Glen Muick near Ballater in a battlehorse of a Campervan and cooked burgers and drank beer with Jamesy. I took some photos just before leaving for civilisation on the Sunday, these are some of them.

This evening I attended my first Edinburgh Fringe Festival show ( a day before it begins – I know!) in my mates Jonny and Nayha’s living room. The performers were two very likeable chaps from Australia called the Lounge Room Confabulators (Stuart Bowden and Will Greenway) whose forte is to tell very funny stories and sing very lovely, and at times slightly creepy, songs. I had the pleasure of photographing Metronomy at Cabaret voltaire in Edinburgh on Monday night this week. A sold out (I think) gig with the venue packed to the gunnels saw the band play a livewire set. First time I’d seen them which is always grand fun. Thanks to Jane at Because Music for sorting the photo pass for me.
